Cancel a Class Occurrence

Overview
From time to time you may need to cancel classes for holidays, inclement weather or club closures. Instead of manually deleting each occurrence, you can now cancel a class with a simple click and update your schedules everywhere, including Facebook.

Using the Cancel Class shortcut ensures that your schedule is up-to-date and your members can easily identify current classes from those that are removed just for the day.

How to Cancel a Class:

• Click the Schedule tab
• Find the class you need to cancel and click cancel occurrence (below the edit link)
• To restore the class, click the "restore" link (appears only after clicking "Cancel Occurrence")
• The class will show "CANCELED" with a red strike through on all schedules, even Facebook.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

*Please note: The class cancellation feature is supported with our two most recent embed codes (calendar and responsive), as well as the new hosted link. To ensure the cancellation feature works as shown, please visit your Account Settings page and be sure you are using the most recent embed code or hosted link to display your schedule.

If your club uses GXP's API to display a custom schedule, the API will continue to work and show 'Canceled:' in front of the title of the class. The API also flags the class (in a programmatic way) to allow classes to be displayed however you would prefer.  If you need assistance, please email [email protected] and our Development Team will gladly assist.
